It was my intention to update the page by early January but a backlog of work (alas, not SAAB related) has prevented this. I have struggled to keep on top of e-mail and I apologise to readers who are awaiting replies. Good friend 1Anson invariably recalls John Lennon's comment ("Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans".) when I lament how my contingency time proves inadequate.
Updates to the site will -hopefully- follow later in the month, when I have more free time.
IMPORTANT! We do not normally sell engines except when we have a known good unit that we have stripped, inspected, rebuilt and run for at least 2,000 miles. Anything else is a gamble. The author will, however, be happy to advise whether a unit is repairable or not and having repaired considerable numbers of these engines, can provide a very accurate estimate of component costs and where they can be procured from.
Note also, we do NOT sell used turbo chargers, unless they have been purchased new by us and have a known good service history. Good, used units are very rare (think as rare as unicorns) and many you may see on eBay will have been salvaged from scrap engines... which in 90% of cases will be scrap due to bad maintenance (lack of oil changes in particular) and that means the turbo itself will have suffered or seized up. Without exception, every engine that we rebuild is fitted with a new or reconditioned turbo charger and oil supply pipe.
We are running low on spares and the author is actively seeking cars to break, although (inevitably) some projects end up repaired.

PLEASE note! You need a Tech 2 to change an ecu/TWICE/DICE. Some DICE units are plug and play but ONLY if care is taken to match the part to the car's specification, otherwise things won't work because they are not programmed in.
9-5 petrol filler cap (UK/Eu market only) 
These have been known to go astray.

Often 'crusty' round the edges, these cost over £40 to buy plus postage new and then you have to get them refinished to match your bodywork. Early cars from 1998-2000 will have the flat type of door part # 4851093 (NLA) and later cars will have part # 5185723 with the finger recess.

SAAB 9-5 headlamps we have a small quantity of 2nd generation lights (not xenon) in good order and PLENTY of 1st gen headlamps. ASK!
SAAB 9-5 rear lights plenty of saloon light clusters (but only one pair of 2nd gen units). All 'cheap as chips'.
Control unit for climate control (1997- 2005)
I knew I had some somewhere...
These units are seen sometimes sporting missing pixels, which can be irritating. At least 6 of these units in stock, removed from the car, on the shelf, ready to go.
Good, clean (tested) working order. A doddle to fit - truly 'plug and go'.
Will be posted properly packed to minimise risk of transit damage.

These have never been fitted to a car. Other 2 are boxed. These retail at £259 + VAT each so under half price for a set without factoring in the tyres!
